Round Robin. Vrs Cranfield Teams and GL Lightening

Warriors played Cranfield Cyclones 1st in a 12 min match (6mins each half). For some reason the Warriors were all asleep for this match. My throat hurts from yelling! 2 poorly defended goals either side of half time saw the Warriors beaten 2-0
2nd games saw the warriors play the Tornadoes. The same sleepy play was in evidence at the start of the game, letting two soft goals in the 1st half. Second half though saw Ben released down the wing, and put Liam in with a great pass. Liam controled the ball once before side footing past the keeper. A late goal in the game made the final score 1-3.
In the final game Warriors played Great Linford Lightening. The game was to be two 10 min halfs. As if by magic the Warriors came to life. The game was very close, with Lightening going ahead in the 1st half. Then a good fight back from Warriors resulted in Liam getting his second goal of the day 1-1. Ben then missed two sitters to score. After the 20 min match, the score was 1-1. We then decided to play another 10 mins…. wish we hadn’t as the Warriors went back to sleep and let in 3 goals in that spell.
All in all, a very strong end to the day that started oh so slow. Man of the match (or day) for his 2 goals and good debut performance was Liam.
